Oil Painting Gallery
International Artist
In April 1985, Marylise was invited and sponsored by the Syrian Art Ministry and French Cultural Center to show her paintings in Damascus, Syria, where she was invited to speak about her technique of oil and collage, and printing techniques.
Marylise was the first woman (non-Syrian) to have an art exhibition in Syria. Her 80 paintings were on display at a gallery downtown Damascus and in the French Cultural Center.
As a result of this first important show, she had a carrier of International artist for 15 years, showing and selling her oils, watercolors and mixed medias throughout Europe, especially Switzerland, France, Germany, Portugal, the UK and the Hermitage in St Petersburg, Russia (“Sacred fire” Washington DC Art group).
Marylise had many commissions in France and Switzerland, murals in Paris and Normandy and her work was published in French magazines, as well.
